Choirs in Brazil
- Ars Femina
- The Ars Femina Choir (from the latin: "Feminine Art") is a girl
choir that began in 1994, in the Brasilia's Music School, from the
idea of Marco AB Coutinho (main conductor) and Maria Alice Fernandes
Braga (pianist), as a class work that became bigger. Since it's
formation, Ars Femina has participated in several national choral
events. Ars Femina today is formed by 20 students, aged 14 to 21,
from Brasilia's Music School, and the conductor Marco AB Coutinho.
The Choir also has the participation of the pianist Maria Lúcia Rosa

Collegium Cantorum Women's Choir
- The “Collegium Cantorum - Women’s Choir” was founded by
Conductor Helma Haller, who is also its idealizer, musical and
artistic director. It is an independent group of about 20 voluntary
members. The main goal of the choir is to spread a broad and
eclectic repertoire of choral music from all ages, with emphasis in
the Brazilian choral music. Another objective is to update, and have
a musical feedback to the group members, on a new level of
musicianship, since the majority of the choralists are musicians,
several of them are vocal soloists and others are teachers and
conductors.
